In Peyrat:

  • A 15th-century church; a porch decorated with the Annunciation with two figures of saints.

A recumbent figure as keystone above the galleryIn Mur-de-Barrez, the church St Thomas de Canterbury:

Begun in the second half of the 12th century and completed in the first years of the 13th century.

Demolished as far as the transept about 1539 by the Calvinists, there were formerly seven archways around the main altar.

One, which survived detached from the church, can be seen from the Esplanade behind the church.

The present choir was built after 1600.

Mystery: A recumbent figure as keystone above the gallery, unique in France.

In Murols:

  • A 15th-century priory administered by the bishopric of Rodez;
  • Roman choir;
  • archway rebuilt in the 18th century;
  • sculptures.

In Nigresserre:

  • In the 13th century, this place was called Neira-Serra.
  • It was a commandery of the Templars, then the knights of St John of Jerusalem who were governed by the commandery in Narbonne.
  • The church of St Jean de l'Hôpital was also the parish church.
  • The building has a Roman nave and a flat 15th-century chevet.
  • The cemetery cross dates from the 15th century.

In Rueyres:

  • A Roman chevet. The altar stone comes from an altar removed from Rodez cathedral.
  • It thus symbolically links the small church in Rueyres to the bishopric.

Christ in the Therondels ChurchIn Thérondels:

  • A Roman church altered in the 15th and 16th centuries; carved lamp-base shaped corbels with figures symbolizing the deadly sins.
