Carladez is located north of Aveyron, between Auvergne and Aubrac.

Coming to Carladez...
By road:
- If you arrive from the south, follow Rodez to motorway exit No. 42, then head for Laissac. At Laissac, go to Entraygues; Mur-de-Barrez is signposted from there onwards...
- If you arrive from the north, leave the motorway at exit No. 28, St Flour, then head for Aurillac. At Pierrefort, head for Mur-de-Barrez.
- If you arrive from Aurilla, head for Arpajon sur Cère, then Pierrefort and Mu-de-Barrez.
